2011 Semillon Sauvignon Blanc
I have found the perfect wine for the start of the picnic season and outdoor entertaining. This Semillon Sauvignon blend is light straw in colour with the aromas of melon and tropical fruit. The flavours mirror the aroma but develop further into shades of green apples and citrus. It is a clean crisp wine, with just enough residual sugar to perfectly balance for most palates.
Take a bottle to lunch with the girls or have one handy for your next BBQ or picnic. I would particularly enjoy serving this wine with some Chili & Garlic Prawns or Sichuan Calamari.
