The Nirwana Pan Pacific Bali has been designed as an all inclusive destination. Everything is available for guests to enjoy an indulgent relaxing holiday, without the need to leave this picturesque property.

The resort is set on 103 hectares of gently undulating grassy green hills, with manicured lawns and tropical style gardens. The restaurants and pool areas have been positioned to take advantage of a dramatic view of the sea, below the sheer cliffs. The outlook is breath taking. Many hours can be passed just watching the waves breaking on the shore.

The Nirwana Pan Pacific resort also has a view over Tanah Lot Temple which is positioned on a rocky outcrop in the sea. Adding to the drama of the scenery, the resort is located with a westerly aspect, allowing for the most romantic of sunsets over the water.

Staring out to sea we could be a million miles away from anywhere. The hustle and bustle of Seminyak and Kuta are a distant memory in this tranquil environment. Here there is nothing but open space, clean fresh air, and tranquillity.

The tropical breezes off the sea water offers a refreshing break from the constant humidity that is characteristic of Bali weather. At the Nirwana Resort Bali, there are countless pools which meander through the resort offering an opportunity for a quick dip or a lazy lounge in the water.

Strategically placed for privacy are various spas of different shapes and sizes. If romance is om your mind it isn’t difficult to find a seclude pool or spa.

With two waterslides emptying into two different pools children tend to congregate around the larger pools leaving the more secluded spots for the adults. As you can see in the picture above, Mr GG was enjoying the water slide just as much as the kids!

Being that it was our ten year wedding anniversary I was looking for a getaway that had something for everyone. A romantic getaway for hubby and I, but a resort which catered equally well to families.

We booked a family room and were pleased to see a big comfy king size bed with sumptuous linen in the centre of the room. Thankfully there was also a partition between the kids room and ours.
The kids were thrilled about the bunk beds, and immediately began deciding who would have the top bunk.

Our room was located right near the kids club which was provided complimentary to guests.

Nirwana Pan Pacific Kids Club
The kids club is most suitable for children aged between about 2 and 7 years of age. Outdoor play for this age includes preschool climbing equipment a small wading pool.

For slightly older children there is a rock climbing wall which is aimed at the 7 + age group and a harness adventure playground. Kids club offers a range of other activities both indoors and outdoors.

The centre operates from 9.00am to 6.00pm daily.

If it’s a romantic getaway or a honeymoon location the resort has oodles to offer. Guest can enjoy a private sunset dinner in a secluded location with their own chef.

The Nirwana Pan Pacific Bali Resort has Five Restaurants & Cooking Classes
Foodies will love the choice of five restaurants which range in cuisine and dining style.

Every second day the resort also hosts a cooking class which features some much loved Indonesian dishes. The class is given by local chefs, and each menu consists of three courses. Naturally, the class ends with students dining on a banquet of flavours.

We chose to have our anniversary dinner at the Pool Grill which is located in the pool area. The Pool Grill specialises in seafood and has a gorgeous view of the sunset over the water.

Nirwana Pan Pacific Bali also has a beautiful Day Spa. There are many treatments on offer, but I chose the half hour back massage. The day spa experience commenced with a welcome mango drink and a fragrant, wet cooled cloth.
I was then led into a serene area with a central pond which was surrounded by a myriad of heavy carved wooden doors. Behind one door was a bathroom with locker and robes to change into.
Once I was adequately attired I was directed to a tranquil darkened room. There was gentle music playing and the alluring aroma of fragrant oils.

After a relaxing foot scrub and massage, I was directed to the massage table. It was such a pleasure to disrobe and place my head through the hole on the table.
The last thing I saw was a beautiful sand and shell display positioned under the table. Half an hour went in the blink of an eye. I was gently roused from my relaxed, meditative state ready to join the family.
Nirwana Pan Pacific 18 hole Golf Course
For the golfer, there is an 18 hole golf course designed by Greg Norman which sweeps around the property providing guests with a view of the picturesque course. Don’t worry about a caddy; one will be provided with the buggy.
If you have become a golf widow there is always the gym, the day spa or a shuttle bus into Seminyak for some shopping.
