This Lamb Souvlaki & Greek Salad is a deliciously light meal, a traditional recipe straight from Greece.

It’s a quick and easy dinner that is on the table in less than 40 minutes!

Lamb Souvlaki and Greek Salad Ingredients
  • Souvlaki Ingredients
  • 500 grams of Ground Beef
  • 500 grams Ground Lamb
  • 1 Onion, finely chopped
  • 3 cloves of Garlic, crushed
  • 1 cup of Breadcrumbs
  • 2 large Eggs
  • 1 tablespoon of Oregano, dried
  • 2 teaspoons of Cumin, ground
  • 1 teaspoon of Salt
  • 1 teaspoon of Pepper, ground
  • 1/3 cup of Tomato Paste
  • Greek Salad Ingredients
  • 3 cups of Baby Spinach Leaves
  • 2 cups of Romaine Lettuce, torn
  • 2 Tomatoes, diced
  • 1/2 Red Pepper, diced
  • 1 Lebanese Cucumber, diced
  • 100 grams of Greek Feta Cheese
  • 12 Kalamata Olives, pitted
  • 1/4 of a Red Onion, thinly sliced
  • 1 tablespoon of Balsamic Vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon of Olive Oil
  • Freshly Ground Pepper

How To Make Greek Lamb Souvlaki & Salad

  1. Souvlaki
  2. Preheat oven to 190C/375F.
  3. In a bowl add all the souvlaki ingredients and mix by hand until well combined.
  4. Divide into 12 meatballs. Roll each of the meatballs into a sausage shape and push a skewer through the center.
  5. Place the skewer souvlaki on a cookie sheet lined with parchment paper.
  6. Bake in the oven for 30mins or until cooked through.
  7. Greek Salad
  8. Place all the salt ingredients into a large mixing bowl and gently toss.
  9. Serve the salad topped with the souvlaki.

Ingredients
