Kambrook Sunny Hunny Waffle Maker Review

I have a quickie breakfast story for you and a product review. I usually don’t go in for single use electrical products. Actually, perhaps I should say, I stopped purchasing this type of product after the sausage roll maker and pie maker.

Yes, they worked just fine but it was quicker and easier to do a batch in the oven en masse than a batch of only 2 or 4 at a time.

Last Christmas I saw this cute little [easyazon_link keywords=”Kambrook waffle” locale=”US” tag=”gourmetgetaways1-20″]Kambrook “Sunny Hunny” waffle[/easyazon_link] maker from their “[easyazon_link keywords=”Little Chefs ” locale=”US” tag=”gourmetgetaways1-20″]Little Chefs[/easyazon_link]” range. I knew instantly that Santa would be delivering this to a special little girl in our family.

Sure enough on Christmas morning, we were making heart shaped waffles. The waffle maker came with a handy recipe book which was simple, and the waffles worked perfectly every time.

The [easyazon_link keywords=”heart shape waffles” locale=”US” tag=”gourmetgetaways1-20″]waffle maker produces 4 heart shape waffles[/easyazon_link] at a time. Each batch only takes about two minutes to cook so cooking these in this machine takes the same amount of time as making the same quantity of pancakes in a pan.

At the moment I am doing the cooking because I think it is a little too hot for Anais to manage by herself, but she certainly enjoys eating these sweet little treats. Usually, we will have them with maple syrup and fruit such as banana or strawberries, but today the fruit bowl is bare so it was just maple syrup.

The recipe makes the perfect amount of batter for two children, but I would double the quantities if mum and dad wanted waffles too.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY MUM! Love you!!
